"I meet some interesting people over here, lol. I have only been gone for about 5-6 months but its hard for me to remember exactly what America is like. I now we have some weird people over there to but I think communism really had an effect mentally on a lot of the older people here. I have a cool experience this week with an 80 year old man. It’s actually the second time it happened to me because it happened in the beginning of my mission but I cant remember if I wrote about it but we taught this man a lesson and when we prayed he said it was his first time ever hearing a prayer out loud. It was another humbling experience for me. He doesn’t want to be taught anymore but we are going to his house on Wednesday because he needs help moving some stuff around so I am looking forward to that. We also start up English class again this week so Friday night we will spend all night teaching people and helping out the older couple from America that teach it. The language is still very frustrating. I feel like I will never learn it. Some words of encouragement would be nice if you have any. I know that last 3 months I have made great steps but I still have a huge hill to climb. I hope in these next 3 months I will improve like I did the first 3 months. The most frustrating thing is just not being able to understand. I know enough verbs and words to say something but I cant when I don’t know what the other person just asked me. I know some of the elders say that it take anywhere from 3-6 and maybe even 8 months to be able to communicate well but it just seems so far away, lol. And now im with someone from my group and we are definitely going to grow a lot I think. We will be together until at least the middle of February and then another transfer comes and one might get moved but nothing is for sure.

Things here have been good. Winter seems to have missed Albania this year. Today it is raining and I little cold but nothing like back home. Usually it rains for 3 weeks straight here and is a really humid cold but so far it has been really nice. I’m not really sure what new has been going on with me. The circus was a blast and hopefully I will send the CD of photos home soon.Missionary work is going good. I am teaching 4 awesome people and yesterday we set a baptism date with one for February 20th and then this week we will commit another to baptism and I think she is ready. She has already read the entire Book of Mormon and she basically teaches us when we meet with her. We also found few new people to teach that we are meeting for the first time this week so hopefully the lessons go well. Now that I’m with someone from my group and we are co-seniors we made the goal to try to find and do a lot more tracting. We go tracting for about 3 hours every morning and I think we will find a lot of people to teach. We get let in a lot when tracting but usually we get in and the old people offer us whiskey or Raci ( I don’t know how to spell it) and then we try to start a lesson and they go off on communism and how they hate the prime minister and then we usually just try to listen for awhile and slowly sneak out, lol. A few nights ago we knocked on 3 doors and got in 3 times and all of them just talked and talked. One of them was watching U.S vs Canada in Hockey and he wouldn’t let us leave, lol. He was yelling at the t.v saying go U.S.A!!! lol. It was hilarious. Then I tried talking about something and he kept yelling at the T.V because U.S.A scored and I was like I’m sorry we have to go other people need to hear we have a living prophet on the earth today and he just looked at me, turned off the t.v and said “talk.” I still laugh thinking about it. We taught him but then half way through the topic got changes to a library being burned down 50 years ago, lol. So yeah as you can see missionary work is pretty crazy over here. But with all that we meet some amazing people that let us in and we have awesome lessons and get invited back. I still cant understand a thing and I probably speak like a 3 year old or worse but it’s coming along. I have been here 3 months and have already improved so hopefully in another 3 months I will improve substantially again."
