"It look like i'll be in Shkoder for the rest of my mission so i better make the most of it. There are a lot more places than Shkoder and Tirana. There's Durres, Elbasan, Vlore, Fierr, Lushnja, and a couple other places we have missionaries. Shkoder is way up north and kind of separated from all the other missionaries. We are forgotten about up here, lol. So like i said it's tough to go from a big town where i was close with all the members and families to a town that has 2 active members in the entire town and no families. Like i said though it's my goal to find a family here in my six months and i know i can do it =).

.So this week has gone by fast for me which i am very thankful for. On Tuesday was the first time it rained on us but it rained TONS!! We walked about for 1 1/2 hours non-stop in the rain because it was to late to tract on doors but we couldn't street contact because nobody wanted to stop and talk in the rain so we walked for many miles. It was kind of cool because there was also a big thunders storm around us. On Wednesday i was able to go to Tirana for a training which was really cool because one of my favorite kids in Tirana, Xhino, met us at the bus stop in Tirana and walked us up to the mission home where we had the meeting so i was able to talk and laugh with him. It was great. On thursday i was able to meet my first member here in Shkoder who's name is Zef. He works security for this factory so we went to his work and it was funny because there was just a group of old men sitting around a table playing dominoes. The old men loving playing dominoes here. We ended up playing a little and we played teams and me and this other man ended up winning. The sad thing was that i didn't even realize we were playing team until the end when they said me and this other man won, lol. I had a good time. The work here mainly consists of tracting. I think i have done about 450 doors in the past 2 weeks. I made a goal to tract 3,500 doors in the next three months and right now i'm on tract to get it. It is going to be a very very long 6 months =( , lol. Oh well what can ya do, just stay upbeat and positive and reach my other goal of finding some families. On Saturday i wasn't feeling to good so we stayed in the second half of the day but come Sunday morning i felt really good. I ended up giving a talk and translating for some people at church. There were 7 members that came this Sunday so i big improvement from last week. There was an investigator who is from Austria who speaks English but not albanian so i translated for him. Today has been good so far. We had a lesson this morning and got a new investigator and i'm really excited for him because he has a lot of faith and from a strong Christian background. We are also going back to a house tonight where a family told us to come back! So be praying for me that this is the family that accepts the gospel. If not i wont get discouraged because there are a lot of people here that think we are missionaries for the catholic church like the nuns that walk around here and then when people find out that we are actually a different church they drop us. It's pretty funny. We always tell them we aren't catholic but i guess they don't believe us =)"
